Don Anderson has a musical background of strictly bluegrass.  His passion for soulful leads and driving rhythms can be traced back to his father Delbert, who has palyed banjo throughout Don's life.  At the age of 12, Don started playing the upright bass and singing songs.

Although Don is harmoniously talented, his ability to write lyrics and melodies is absolutely remarkable.  He wrote his first song at the age of 16 titled "Walkn' in the Rain," and he has continued to manufacture many more over the years.  Don is able to compose lines and insert tunes that not only create a song, but also tells a story.  Solid evidence of his aptitude can be heard in the words of "Wrinkles on His Face", a song Don wrote about his father.

Don has an internal drive to make things happen like no other,  He is the driving force behind the success of No One You Know.  He currently hosts a Blugrass radio show "On the Road with Don Anderson" on 104.9 WPDX.  Anderson is originally from Jackson County, but now lives in the Clarksburg area.
